Basketball Recap: Fort Davis Comes Up Short

Fort Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 50-37 to the Balmorhea Bears. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 57-48 to them when the teams met back in February of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Fort Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Balmorhea, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.

While Fort Davis had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
