After a string of four wins, St. Patrick's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They had to suffer through a 47-14 loss at the hands of the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers. The Irish were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-6.

St. Patrick's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Breckyn Collins, who rushed for 64 yards and one TD on only eight carries, and Mason Giebler, who rushed for 75 yards.

St. Patrick's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Dundy County-Stratton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. St. Patrick's will challenge rival Southern Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dundy County-Stratton is set to face off against their familiar foe Alma on Friday.
