Soccer Recap: Wheeling Comes Up Short

Wheeling lost against Rolling Meadows back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Mustangs, falling 7-0. That's two games in a row now that Wheeling have lost by exactly seven goals.

Wheeling's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Rolling Meadows, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wheeling is set to challenge their familiar foe Hersey at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Rolling Meadows will square off against rival Elk Grove at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
