It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Meadowbrook had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the London Red Raiders as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Colts sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Meadowbrook not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept London between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-20.

Meadowbrook's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Journey Nicola led the charge by getting 11 digs and five assists. That's the most assists Nicola has posted since back in October. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Sichina, who had 33 assists and seven digs.

London lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Riley Cremeens, who had 17 digs and three assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 13 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Madi Green, who had 14 assists and eight digs.

Meadowbrook's victory bumped their record up to 25-2. As for London, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 16-10 record.

Coming up, Meadowbrook will challenge Archbishop McNicholas at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. London does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
