Recap: Lumen Christi Archangels vs. King Cove T-Jacks and Rookies
The Lumen Christi Archangels were the 44-29 winner over the King Cove T-Jacks and Rookies when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Lumen Christi fell to the T-Jacks and Rookies 33-29. Lumen Christi has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Archangels players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amara Warren, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Warren is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Isabel Brown, who scored 11 points.
Lumen Christi's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for King Cove, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.
Lumen Christi won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Eagles/Lady Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. Susitna Valley will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
