Basketball Recap: Marian Central Catholic Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Marian Central Catholic had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 49-31 win over the Rosary Royals. The victory continues a trend for the Hurricanes in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won five in a row.

Marian Central Catholic had a senior duo take command as Abbey Miner went 5-for-9 en route to 10 points along with seven assists and seven steals and Juliette Huff posted 22 points and seven boards. Miner is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Adriana Wrzos, who put up eight points.
