Baseball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley lost to Pinon on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates came up short against the Eagles, falling 16-2. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Pinon, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Valley will challenge rival Many Farms at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pinon is set to face off against their familiar foe Hopi at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
