North Pemiscot had won six straight road games dating back to last season and Cheyanne Sawyer did her part to make it seven on Monday. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Delta Chargers for which the team can thank Sawyer, who had four aces and three digs. She has been hot, having also posted 13 or more assists the last seven times she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant North Pemiscot was: they took every set by at least 17 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-4, 25-8.

North Pemiscot's record is now 10-3-1. As for Delta, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

North Pemiscot has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Piggott on the 25th. As for Delta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Caruthersville on the 25th.
