Tornillo is 0-10 against Kermit since January of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Coyotes will be playing at home against the Yellow Jackets at 5:30 p.m.

On Friday, Tornillo had to suffer through a 55-22 loss at the hands of Alpine.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Kermit on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Anthony out of the water with a 60-8 final score. The victory continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won nine in a row.

Tornillo's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Kermit, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.

Tornillo was dealt a bruising 63-19 defeat at the hands of Kermit when the teams last played back in January of 2025. Can the Coyotes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
