The Simeon Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Normal West Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Simeon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Goode STEM Academy 56-8. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Wolverines had established a 28-point advantage.

Meanwhile, Normal West had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Thunderbirds by a score of 34-24. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 215th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Simeon's record is now 6-4. As for Normal West, their record now sits at 8-2.
