The Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Hawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Hancock Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.3 runs per game this season.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park duked it out with Juarez on Monday. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won 12 contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Rebecca Gonzalez made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

In other batting news, Rosie Lara was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Victoria Medrano, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI.

Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They are a perfect 11-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
