The Gunter Tigers extended their postseason success on Friday against the Canadian Wildcats. They blew past the Wildcats 38-17. The win was just business as usual for Gunter, who after 15 games remain undefeated this season.

Walker Overman was his usual excellent self, rushing for 95 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 119 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Brock Boddie, who rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown.

Gunter's win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 45.53 points. As for Canadian, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 14-1.

Gunter will square off against Tidehaven at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tidehaven will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. Canadian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
