Mayfield proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by four) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the North Rangers 2-1. Mayfield wouldn't have won without Bedji Dort, who scored the game-winner.

Mayfield has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those five matchups. As for North, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-3-1.
