            Softball Recap: Auburn Tigers vs. Lee-Scott Academy Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Auburn suffered their closest  loss since April 23, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors by a score of  3-1. The  match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
Auburn got a good showing from  Mary Alderson Grace, who   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Grace has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Daley Alsobrook was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-3 with one  home run.
Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record  this season.
 Auburn will challenge Dothan at 6:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Auburn's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2  runs per game  this season, so Dothan's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they will square off against Orange Beach at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Orange Beach 1.2, Lee-Scott Academy 3.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
