Softball Recap: Amite County Comes Up Short

Amite County and Sacred Heart squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Amite County had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-0 to the Crusaders, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss leaves the Trojans still looking for their first win of the season.

Amite County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Sacred Heart, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sacred Heart beat Amite County by a score of 12-0 later that day.
