Recap: Black Hills Wolves vs. Elma Eagles
The Black Hills Wolves put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Elma with points to spare, taking the game 46-27. That's another feather in the cap for Black Hills, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Black Hills' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Venable, who scored 13 points along with 4 steals. The game was Venable's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ashley Harris, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds.
Black Hills' win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Elma, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Black Hills will take on Shelton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Elma will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Raymond at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st.
