It was a proper cat-fight when Shields duked it out with Red Level on Thursday. The Panthers had to suffer through a 48-12 loss at the hands of the Tigers. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Shields' loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Shields and Red Level will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Panthers will take on rival Southern Choctaw at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. Meanwhile, Red Level is set to challenge their familiar foe Kinston at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
