Lincolnview had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 10-9 W against the Paulding Panthers. For the Lancers, this counts as revenge for the 11-8 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Lincolnview pushed their record up to 21-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Paulding, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Lincolnview and Paulding should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Lancers will take on New Bremen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (73 vs. 476). Meanwhile, Paulding (ranked 296th) will meet Spencerville (ranked 623rd) at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
