Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Aurora). They really took it to the Barberton Magics for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-27 victory. Given the Greenmen's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 240th, while the Magics are ranked 615th), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aurora's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10. As for Barberton, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aurora will square off against Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Highland will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something Aurora surely won't give up without a fight. As for Barberton, they will face off against Holy Name at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
