Baseball Recap: Hillman Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Hillman faced off against Millington on Saturday. The Tigers came up short against the Cardinals, falling 15-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hillman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Corbin Schultz, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Hillman's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Millington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Hillman will challenge Atlanta at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Millington, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Montrose at 2:00 p.m. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Cardinals' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
