Dajia Cohen, Phillips's leader in assists on the season, led the team again on Friday. Cohen showed up in a big way, putting up six points along with six steals and five assists. Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 2.2 steals per game. She is becoming a predictor of Phillips' success: when she posts at least five steals the team is 5-1 (and 3-4 when she doesn't).

Cohen and Phillips won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Thornton Fractional North at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Thornton Fractional North will enter the matchup having just beaten Evergreen Park, so Phillips will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
