Basketball Recap: Lee Christian Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

Triad Baptist Christian Academy came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Lee Christian, but Justin Brown wouldn't allow it. The Lee Christian Falcons came out on top against the Triad Baptist Christian Academy Titans by a score of 70-59 on Saturday thanks in part to Brown, who almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine boards. Brown is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Lee Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Triad Baptist Christian Academy, they moved to 11-2 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lee Christian and Shining Light Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shining Light Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lee Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Triad Baptist Christian Academy will take on Tabernacle Christian in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
