It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Dixie County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Bronson Eagles 67-64. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Eagles back in November, they had to take a 61-47 loss.
Bronson's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trey Tucker, who posted 17 points and seven steals. Brennan Williams also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.
