Basketball Recap: Lockhart Takes a Loss

Lockhart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 58-39 fall against the Leander Lions. Lockhart was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Leander apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Lockhart's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Leander, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-16.

Lockhart and Leander could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Lockhart (ranked 850th) will meet Rouse (ranked 244th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Leander will take on Glenn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 574 places (590 vs. 16).
