Softball Recap: Greenhill Comes Up Short

Greenhill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Prestonwood Christian Lions, falling 15-5.

Cate Simpson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.

Greenhill's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Prestonwood Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

Coming up, Greenhill will host Trinity Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prestonwood Christian, they will head out to face off against John Paul II at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least ten runs in their last eight contests.
