Basketball Game Preview: Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles vs. Cabell Midland Knights

The Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles will take on the Cabell Midland Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Woodrow Wilson simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Riverside 88-48. The Flying Eagles haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Cabell Midland came up short against St. Albans on Thursday and fell 73-60.

Woodrow Wilson will have to keep a close watch on Ethan Blackburn and Marshall Summers, a pair of players who had a big impact on Cabell Midland's prior game. Blackburn posted 21 points, while Summers had 13 points. Ayden Spence was another key player, putting up six points.

Woodrow Wilson pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.1 points over those games. As for Cabell Midland, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
