Basketball Recap: Caesar Rodney Takes a Loss

Caesar Rodney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Smyrna Eagles and fell 81-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Riders have suffered against the Eagles since February 20, 2021.

Caesar Rodney's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Smyrna, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.

Caesar Rodney has already played their next matchup, a 63-61 defeat against Sussex Central on the 18th. Smyrna has also already played their next contest (against St. Georges Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
