Baseball Recap: East Wake Comes Up Short

East Wake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Johnston Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

East Wake's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for West Johnston, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

East Wake wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 17-0 victory against Franklinton on the 24th. As for West Johnston, they have also already played their next game, an 8-1 win against Smithfield-Selma on the 24th.
