Tanque Verde had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Cienega Bobcats by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Tanque Verde was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 20-25, 25-15.

Leading Tanque Verde to victory were Alexia Adams and Cayla Vimmerstedt. Adams had 15 digs and two assists, while Vimmerstedt had 13 digs, three aces, and one block. What's more, Vimmerstedt posted two kills, the most she's had since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Tanque Verde was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in seven consecutive matches.

Tanque Verde's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Cienega, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Tanque Verde will venture away from home to square off against Sabino at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks are facing the Sabercats at the right time seeing as the Sabercats are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Cienega, they will head out on the road to face off against Empire at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
