Tanque Verde waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Cienega Bobcats by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Tanque Verde was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 20-25, 25-15.

Leading Tanque Verde to victory were Alexia Adams and Cayla Vimmerstedt. Adams had 15 digs and two assists, while Vimmerstedt had 13 digs, three aces, and one block. What's more, Vimmerstedt posted two kills, the most she's had since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Tanque Verde was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They are 13-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Tanque Verde's record now sits at 16-11. As for Cienega, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Tanque Verde wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Sabino on the 21st. As for Cienega, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Empire on the 22nd.
