Soccer Game Preview: Shorewood vs. Bothell/Inglemoor

The Shorewood Stormrays will face off against the Bothell/Inglemoor Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Shorewood sitting on six straight victories and Bothell/Inglemoor on three.

Shorewood barely beat Lynnwood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Shorewood's defense stepped up to hand Lynnwood a 3-0 shutout on Friday. Shorewood's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

They hit Lynnwood with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ian Baxter, Thomas Leitner, and Nikola Genadiev.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Bothell/Inglemoor duked it out with North Creek on Thursday. Bothell/Inglemoor was the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over North Creek. While Bothell/Inglemoor didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-8-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Bothell/Inglemoor pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Shorewood, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
