Baseball Game Preview: Whitesboro vs. Valley View Eagles

Whitesboro is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Valley View a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. Whitesboro will host the Valley View Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Whitesboro's last matchup with Callisburg could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. Whitesboro came up short against Callisburg, falling 9-1.

Meanwhile, Valley View fell victim to Ponder and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Lions.

Valley View's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Whitesboro, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Whitesboro came out on top in a nail-biter against Valley View when the teams last played back in April of 2025, sneaking past 7-6. Will Whitesboro repeat their success, or does Valley View has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
