Basketball Recap: Michael Petty's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Keystone Heights over Duval Charter

Keystone Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a 70-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Duval Charter Panthers.

Keystone Heights lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Michael Petty, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards. Those 12 rebounds gave Petty a new career-high. Dereon Tochterman was another key player, going 8 of 18 on his way to 21 points.

Keystone Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Duval Charter, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-10.

Keystone Heights wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 49-48 loss against Baldwin on the 17th. As for Duval Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-20 victory against Riverside Christian on the 17th.
