Sadly, the Monroe Golden Tornadoes are still looking for their first win of the season after 11 games. They suffered a rough 10-0 loss at the hands of Dougherty on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Monroe has lost by exactly ten goals.
Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-2. As for Dougherty, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monroe will face off against Carver at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dougherty will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Thomasville at 7:00 p.m. on March 15th. Thomasville will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Dougherty surely won't give up without a fight.
