There's no place like home for Deer Trail, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Miami-Yoder Buffaloes on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Buffaloes back in August, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

The victory didn't come easy: Miami-Yoder scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-18.

Megan Donovan paced Deer Trail's offense, picking up ten kills. Donovan got some help from Landree Cox and her 16 assists. Cox was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Deer Trail's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Miami-Yoder, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Deer Trail will be playing at home against Cripple Creek-Victor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Miami-Yoder, they will venture away from home to challenge Elbert at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
