Volleyball Recap: NELA Christian Homeschool Comes Up Short

NELA Christian Homeschool managed to slip by Bishop Noland Episcopal Day the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Flame came up short against the Eagles on Friday, falling 3-0. The Flame were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

While NELA Christian Homeschool had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.

NELA Christian Homeschool has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. NELA Christian Homeschool will challenge rival Psalms Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bishop Noland Episcopal Day is set to take on their familiar foe Lake Area HomeSchool Sports at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
