Derryfield typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Merrimack Valley proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Derryfield Cougars with a sharp 57-35 victory. The Pride have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.

Merrimack Valley has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Derryfield, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 14-1 and their overall record down to 14-2.
