Softball Recap: St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks vs. Calvert Senecas

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Saturday as neither St. Joseph Central Catholic nor Calvert made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Crimson Streaks fell 7-4 to the Senecas. Crimson Streaks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Senecas since on Saturday.

Stella Thomas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, St. Joseph Central Catholic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savannah Foos, who went 2-for-3 with one triple. Another was Amaree Haralson, who went 3-for-4 with one run.
