Softball Recap: St. Cloud Cathedral's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

St. Cloud Cathedral put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Buffalo Bison. Considering the Crusaders have won five games by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Cloud Cathedral pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Buffalo, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Coming up, St. Cloud Cathedral will welcome Willmar at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buffalo, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-3 loss against St. Cloud Tech on the 16th.
