The Ironwood Eagles suffered their biggest loss since December 29, 2023 on Monday. They were beaten by Paradise Valley 57-20. Ironwood has struggled against Paradise Valley recently, as their game on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Emilee Resendez, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds for Paradise Valley. Resendez has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Neha Patel, who scored 11 points along with seven steals.
Ironwood has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 13 of their last 15 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Paradise Valley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.
