Basketball Recap: Fountain Central Comes Up Short

After soaring to 67 points the game before, Fountain Central was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 78-27 loss at the hands of the Parke Heritage Wolves. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-20.

Fountain Central's loss came despite strong showings from Eli Foxworthy and Levi Miller. Foxworthy posted 16 points and six rebounds, while Miller scored 11 points.

Carter Crum continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Parke Heritage, as he made all 7 shots he took for 17 points and six boards. Crum is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 75% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brenden Goins, who earned ten points and three steals.

Fountain Central has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. The victory (which was Parke Heritage's third in a row) raised their record to 17-4.
