Volleyball Game Preview: Sun Valley Vanguards vs. Unionville Longhorns

Sun Valley is 0-7 against Unionville since October of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The Vanguards will be playing at home against the Longhorns at 3:30 p.m.

Sun Valley came up short against Downingtown East on Monday, falling 3-0.

Sun Valley was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-12, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Unionville is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Morgantown. The Longhorns came out on top against the Mohigans by a score of 2-0. The victory was nothing new for the Longhorns as they're now sitting on four straight.

Sun Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Unionville, their win bumped their record up to 9-0-1.

Sun Valley suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Unionville when the teams last played back in October of 2024.
