Cherokee Christian came out on top against The King's Academy on Thursday thanks in part to Charlie Goodwin's efforts. The King's Academy had no answer to Goodwin as he struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. The dominant performance gave Goodwin a new career-high in strikeouts.
