Teays Valley had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt Reynoldsburg on Monday. The Vikings never let the Raiders get on the board and left with an 18-0 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Teays Valley's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Reynoldsburg, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.
