Softball Recap: Hill School Rams vs. Peddie Falcons

Hill School had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 2-7 to make it seven. They lost 20-6 to the Peddie Falcons. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 16-12.

Meghan Ward was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Willow Gall, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

As for Peddie, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-8 record. That looming 20-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Looking ahead, Hill School will host Blair Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Peddie, they are taking a road trip to challenge Montgomery at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
