A feisty cat fight will be fought as Mount Pleasant Tigers face off against Southwestern Randolph Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Mount Pleasant's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Gray Stone Day as they made off with a 15-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won eight in a row.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last three times Southwestern Randolph and Uwharrie Charter Academy have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Cougars were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Eagles.

Mount Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Southwestern Randolph, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
