Football Recap: Farrell Skates Past Eisenhower with Ease

Farrell waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Eisenhower Knights 58-7. Given the Steelers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Knights are ranked 423rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Farrell to victory, but perhaps none more so than Juelz Johnson, who rushed for 195 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. Johnson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 91-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of AAron Pegues, who rushed for 75 yards and one score on only eight carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Farrell was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 363 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Farrell's record now sits at 8-2. As for Eisenhower, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Farrell will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Mercyhurst Prep at 7:00 p.m. Eisenhower does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
