Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairfax). They were the clear victor by a 10-1 margin over Westchester on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Fairfax's win bumped their record up to 13-4-3. Venice's draw makes their record 12-5-1 this season.

Venice took their victory against Fairfax in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Venice since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
