Volleyball Recap: Twin River's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Twin River lost against Cross County back in October of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Titans fell 2-0 to the Cougars.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20.

Jaclyn Everett paced Twin River's offense, picking up seven kills. Everett got some help from Callie Held and her 11 assists. Finally, Tricia Kunkee kept Twin River's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Twin River's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-18. As for Cross County, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-8.

Twin River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Newman Grove/St. Edward on the 13th. As for Cross County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Shelton on the 14th.
