Basketball Recap: Odem Takes a Loss

Odem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 41-34 to the West Oso Bears. While the Owls didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 15-4 in the first quarter.

West Oso's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amarre Sanders led the charge by putting up nine points and four steals. Sanders is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Maurice Rosales was another key player, scoring seven points and seven boards.

Odem's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for West Oso, their win bumped their record up to 19-9.

Odem has already played their next matchup (against Mathis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Oso has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against London.
